Payroll Compliance · Umbrella Service

Statutory returns & records — handled, filed, archived.

An umbrella service for clients who want their full statutory documentation handled — from monthly returns to maintained registers ready for inspection.

What We Deliver

The compliance paperwork — owned end-to-end.

Most companies don't have a returns problem in isolation. They have a paperwork problem — monthly PT, PF and ESI returns, semi-annual LWF, Shop Act annual return, CLRA registers and statutory registers that an inspector might ask for, with three months of leave data missing.

This service is built for HR teams that don't want to chase every form. We pick up the full statutory filing surface — monthly, half-yearly and annual — and the registers behind it. Filed on time. Maintained current. Archived for seven years.

It's the umbrella we add when clients already have PT, PF/ESI and LWF with us and want one team to also maintain the registers and annual filings that sit alongside them. Backed by 20 years of team experience.

What's Included

How It Works

Map the scope, then run it on autopilot

01

Scope & Calendar

We map every return and register applicable to your entity and build a 12-month compliance calendar.

02

Data Cadence

Monthly wage and headcount data flows in from your HR. Internal cutoff is days before statutory date.

03

File & Maintain

Returns filed, registers updated, challans paid. Acknowledgements shared the same week.

04

Inspection Audit

Periodic mock inspections + a permanent searchable archive — so the real inspection day is uneventful.

Who Needs This

Three teams who outsource the paperwork to us

Returns and records is rarely a standalone problem — it shows up when something else has broken.

HR Overload

HR teams overwhelmed by paperwork

You have a 2–4 person HR function in Gujarat trying to run hiring, payroll, statutory filings, registers and inspections. The filings are the first to slip. You want a partner to take that surface off the HR plate.

Typical: 100–500 employee companies in Ahmedabad, Surat or Vadodara with lean HR teams.
After a Failed Inspection

Companies recovering from missing records

An inspection visit happened. Registers weren't current. A show-cause notice arrived. You want everything rebuilt to a defensible standard and never want this conversation again.

Typical: Companies post inspection notice, post due-diligence finding, post change of CFO/HR head.
Multi-Location

Gujarat businesses across many locations

You have offices, branches or units in 5–15 Gujarat cities. Records sit on different laptops, in different formats, with different people. You want one consolidated, current set of registers and one filing owner.

Typical: Regional retail chains, multi-branch services, distributors with depot staff across Gujarat.
Why Milestone for Returns & Records

Quiet, consistent, audit-defensible.

Four reasons clients trust us with the paperwork.

Calendar-Driven

Nothing tracked by memory

Every filing has an owner and an internal due date that lands days before the statutory one. We chase your HR for inputs — not the other way around.

Inspection-Tested

Registers that pass a real audit

Our internal standard is what the relevant authorities actually want to see, in the format they want to see it — not a textbook ideal.

Digital + Physical

Both formats supported

Where applicable law permits electronic registers, we maintain digital primary records and produce signed physical copies on demand.

Archived for 7 Years

Nothing is ever lost

Every challan, return and register version is archived in our system for at least 7 years — retrievable in minutes for audits or due diligence.

Frequently Asked

Returns & records support — your questions answered

We maintain all statutory registers required under Gujarat labour law — employee, wage, attendance, leave, overtime and fines records, plus the annual return — and keep them current as joiners, exits and pay changes happen.
As a general rule, statutory registers and returns under labour laws should be retained for a minimum of 7 years, with some records requiring longer retention. We archive all client documents for 7 years by default and longer where the law requires.
Inspection failures typically trigger immediate fines, show-cause notices and follow-up inspections. Repeated non-production of records can escalate to prosecution. The risk is much higher than the cost of keeping records current — which is why we treat inspection-readiness as a continuous output, not a fire-drill.
Yes. Where applicable law permits electronic registers, we maintain the digital primary record on our secure systems and produce signed physical copies on demand — for inspections, audits or due diligence.
Every client gets a customised compliance calendar listing every monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual filing applicable to them. Each filing has an owner, an internal due date well before the statutory date and an archived acknowledgement once filed. Status is reviewed weekly internally and shared monthly with your team.
Yes. At onboarding we map every applicable statutory filing — PT monthly and annual returns, PF/ESI monthly returns, LWF semi-annual returns, Shop Act annual return, CLRA returns and any other relevant filings — into a single annual compliance calendar. The calendar is shared with your finance and HR teams and updated whenever rules, headcount or location changes.

Get the paperwork off your HR's plate.

Share your entity structure and Gujarat headcount. We'll send back a draft compliance calendar — every return, every register, every deadline — and a quote to run it for you, end-to-end.
